Biography
Lucie Wahl is a cineaste and artist who is based between Luxembourg and Paris. Her artistic practice lies at the intersection of fiction, audiovisual experimentation and documentary, combining film, installation and artistic research.
Having trained at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, as well as studying political science at the University of Vienna, she developed a socially engaged approach driven by social, political and aesthetic issues. Studying under Clément Cogitore, Angelica Mesiti, Constanze Ruhm and Hicham Berrada deepened her practice of cinema, video art and experimental installation.
Her work has been presented at festivals such as the Luxembourg City Film Festival, the ULL NU festival in Andorra and the Journées Internationales du Film sur l'Art in Paris, as well as art institutions including the Louvre Museum, Le Centre Wallonie Bruxelles in Paris Le Bal in Paris, the Palais de Tokyo and the MUMOK in Vienna.
